or any realistic M2M infrastructure, device visibility and control is the most critical part which can either make or break the day-to-day operations of your infrastructure. To reduce accruing large maintenance cost and unacceptable downtime for our customers, we are developing Yantrr’s Device cloud (YDC). YDC provides complete observability and controllability of your M2M device from the medium of the cloud.
YDC supports two main aspects –
- Complete visibility of device status, their connection and navigation history
- Complete controllability of device, even when the data network is down using SMS fallback
E.g. Connected/disconnected, reboot reason/time, cell signal strength, critical error(s) counts, and current active public IP
Device connection history and statistics – e.g. connect/disconnected time, data usage.
Device navigation history which can be overlayed on the world map.
and configuration
This is the web-frontend for Yantrr’s Connection Manager (YCM) running on our device and provides options to configure all aspect of our device’s connection and navigation features, from connection profile to querying modem, from setting timer for location and connection updates to rebooting or factory resetting the device. In case the device is not reachable over data network, we also provide a SMS based fallback API which provides SOS functionality.
