When Synergy Systems & Solutions was looking for their next generation of control system hardware based on latest multi-core GHz speed SoCs, they turned to their long time technology partner Yantrr Electronic Systems. Yantrr did an extensive review of their requirements and provided technology insight into best available hardware and software to meet their product needs into next few years.

“We could entrust the design of this new generation multi-core multi-CPU system to Yantrr, including implementation of a proprietary inter CPU distributed shared memory system. This design was implemented on FPGA, with a Verilog HDL IP that was developed for Synergy’s needs of low latency inter-CPU data synchronization. Yantrr also customized Linux kernel and drivers for this Renesas RZN1/D industrial grade SoC based system in a turnkey business model.” – said Krishnan Venkatraman, Vice President, Synergy Systems.

We use the VIBE2 boards to connect to industrial robotic workers which are deployed at various sites around the US.  The board runs custom code which allows the robot to have 2-way communications with our backend system for doing things such as sending up diagnostics and analytics packets every cycle that the robot completes, we also have a socket which is monitoring every 100ms real time data that the robot broadcasts and keeping a cloud data store in sync.
